Perfect for off roading or coast to coast

I downloaded the HEMA app primarily because I use their road atlas and wanted a companion I could quickly pick up and not have to turn pages or take my eyes off the road too long. I found the map store in the App. that allowed me to download regional topographical maps.

I used it this Weekend while off roading and it is quite easy to use and kept up with the terrain I was traversing. The maps loaded quickly and my position was centered all the time even though we were out of cell range.

I am now going to look for a mounting solution for the iPad and keep this app running while on the trail. Definitely worth the $10.
